My Nibbler pug had some type of rash on his "leg pits." It was less significantly less so with his front legs, but the rear "leg pits" looked pretty bad. Very red and almost looked scaley at the worst parts and about the size of a silver dollar. He never showed signs of discomfort and I never caught him licking or attempting to scratch it, but it didn't look healthy. I really wish I took before and after pictures. I tried applying vitamin d oil, but that was messy and gooey and didn't seem to help. I tried cleaning the areas after walks thinking it was dirt or grime that was irritating the skin. No help. Then I found this and conveniently enough, it has a cheaper sampler. I started seeing results after 2 days, each with only a single application. The redness was significantly reduced. I'm typing this review on day 4 and the redness is completely gone. I purchased the 4oz tin for future treatments. I couldn't be happier with this product and the results.

So I've learned not to follow reviews anymore for dog products on Amazon unless the reviews are overwhelmingly low because most of the dog products I've tried on Amazon have been absolutely useless. However, I liked the ingredients on this one and decided to start with the small tube which was the size of your pinky finger, if even that big. My 12 year old Aussie-Shephard mix has life long CHRONIC dermatitis with ongoing skin yeast infections so complete eradication of itching is nonexistent but has been decreased with a consistent routine i follow weekly. Like many people on here, I've tried everything from home made remedies to vet meds, round medicated acne looking pads to medicated shampoos. With this product, I have no before or after pictures. Just my word and a description of how i can get this product to work for her. I use it on her when she tries to secretly scratch out of my view. She tries to keep me from seeing her scratching because she knows I'm going to pull out the arsenal. I bathe her once a week with both oatmeal and then anti-fungal shampoo. I give her a quick cleansing in between baths every couple days to help contain the itching and yeast overgrowth on certain parts of her body. With all of that maintenance, i can then utilize this little tube when she tries to sneak off to scratch. I roll a little on the itchy spots. I wasn't at all expecting this thing to work because nothing really completely has worked but surprisingly, the itching would cease almost immediately when i rubbed it on. Because her condition is severe, I cannot depend on this product soley so i am not rubbing on tons of it all day long. It wouldn't work for her that way. Instead, I made it apart of my aresnal. I have to use it in conjunction with the aforementioned routine. Overall, this product, in collaboration with other products, has helped and allowed me to lessen the use of the apoquel. I know this product didn't work for all dogs because not all dogs are the same but i would say start with the tiny tube and give it a try. Hope this helps one person

I don't usually right reviews unless something is terribly awful but in this case I was so shocked with how well this product worked for my dog I had to share! Worth every penny. Noticable difference withing 3-4 hours. Applied once a day for 3 days and it is completely healed. She had a skin reaction to flea and tick treatment.

I didn't take a before picture unfortunately, but the two pictures I did take were day 3 and then day 7. My dog had a bunch of red dry spots all over his inner thigh, it was only on one side and when one would go away another would pop up. I'm not sure what was causing it, maybe just skin irritation from allergies or dry skin, either way it wasn't clearing so I decided to try this skin soother to see if it would help. I applied it once a day everyday until it ran out. I only got the sample so it did run out after a full week of use. It definitely works, as you can see in the pictures, just the difference between day 3 and a full week there was improvement. The spots were clearing up very nicely and he wasn't licking or biting his skin as much. He's a 10 month old lab with a lot of energy but the second I touched his skin with this balm, he would completely calm and stay still. I think it was a huge itch relief for him when I applied it and helped soothe his skin right away. The smell of the balm is strong but after I applied it, he didn't seem interested in licking the balm off which was great. I definitely want to try the full size because this ran out too fast. I gave this 4 stars
because it ran out before I could see his skin be completely clear and healed. So I never really got to see the end results. But applying what I did get from this sample, it's very promising and was definitely helping his skin. Definitely worth buying the full size so his skin can continue to fully heal.
