This is an extraordinarily well designed and executed product. It does exactly what it is intended to do but it is much easier to use than anything I have ever seen in bed boards plus it is easier to ship. It was much easier to place than unwieldy bed boards. It is the perfect solution designed and built with great care and I could not be happier. It is such an elegant, well executed solution that I had to write this review. Perfect vertical slats for an existing bed with horizontal slats. Our existing slats were too far apart for a memory foam mattress so we needed something going in the opposite direction for reinforcement. The price of plywood right now plus cutting and painting white was not worth just buying this. Perfect purchase.

This is the second time I have purchased one of these, and it was my satisfaction with the first one that prompted this second purchase. Bed frames that are designed to use without a boxspring are great, but after a while, the mattress begins to "squish" down through the metal support bars. Also, tucking the sheets and blankets under the mattress at the foot of the bed does not work very well in that scenario. The 'bunkie board' gives the bedding a place to stay put, rather than falling through the metal bars supporting the mattress. It's a great product that works exactly how I need it to work, AND I got it at a great price -- better than when I purchased it the first time by quite a bit. Does not disappoint. I'm a very satisfied shopper with this product

I have both a twin size and a queen size. I purchased the queen bunkie board a couple years ago for an old bed that was starting to sag in the middle. It helped for a few months until I got a new bed and raised platform. Bunkie board offers great support for a bed that weighs a lot! And I purchased the twin bunkie board for my couch actually. I have an almost 30 year old leather couch. It looks brand new but the middle sags from years of use. So I added a twin bunkie board under and all the sag is gone! Saving me from purchasing a new $$ couch. 10/10
