Not entirely as expected, but still good

The good - Chalk markers write well and didn't leave ghosting. That may vary by brand, but mine were fine. It went on smoothly, which is good because they no longer include the squeegee. I didn't miss it.
The bad - The grid was off by a few centimeters, so what appeared to be the center was off. I didn't realize this until after cutting. Also, the magnetic power is almost unusably weak. I didn't expect much due to their warnings that it wasn't strong, but I can't imagine using this for much of anything magnetic. I didn't get it for that, though.
The ugly - Don't be fooled by old reviews and seller q&a. It does NOT come with magnets or chalk. You will receive only the paper. To be fair, the description itself doesn't say it includes magnets (although it does list the non-existent squeegee, and pictures show the old accessories); it's just the old questions that the seller answered that mention the magnets.
Manage your expectations, and it is a decent product. I'm going to buy another one.

This worked awesome for us to quickly upgrade our IkeA easel to a magnetic chalkboard- such a more functional use of the chalkboard side! Note: we did have to cut the remainder to fit so there are seams, but it's completely functional and works well!

Our granddaughter is having a lot of fun with this. It sticks great on the wood panel that encloses our refrigerator. Chalk is working on it and the letter magnets we bought work well.
Thicker and Shinier than I expected

First, I love the look. The only thing is I expected it to be "matte" like a real chalkboard. It has a slight sheen to it. I don't know if chalk will actually write on it. I have chalk pens which work great but they take a few minutes to totally dry, and they wipe off with a wet cloth. The magnetic surface works very good.
This stuff is VERY thick for contact paper which makes sense since it is a magnetic surface. So it was a little tougher to work with than regular contact paper. It wasn't as sticky as contact paper either though so on plastic, repositioning wasn't a tough task and it seems like it's sticking very good. I will update my review as we start dealing with hot temps here in North Carolina (we're just coming up on the fall so I don't think it will be an issue).
For the price? I though there was going to be a LOT more on the roll. There was enough to do the top of my camper door with a little left over. I am going to have to buy another complete roll to finish the door. Had I know this, I probably would have stuck with standard chalkboard contact paper and received more on the roll - I'm not sure how much I will use the magnet feature (unless I start collecting magnets at the camp sites we stay at).

I am a kindergarten teacher and I have been looking for a way to cover my ugly cabinets for a couple of years. I stumbled across this Chalknetic magnetic paper on Amazona and I was thrilled. Not only would this cover up the cabinets but it would be useful to my students by providing a place they could build words with magnetic letters and write on with chalk.
Update Just wanted to share that this is still going strong one year later!
I was disappointed when they were out of stock so I hunted down the makers on Facebook. They were very responsive and helpful. They let me know when the product was back in stock so I could order. I immediately ordered two excited that was Prime shipping available. The paper arrived rolled up and well packaged. It was easy to apply but you need two people to apply it because it is heavier than regular paper.
I was struck by how simple the paper was to apply to the cabinets and how much of a difference it makes to the ascetics of the cabinet. I put magnets on it right away to see how useful it was. The magnets did not slide and stayed in place overnight. I am extremely satisfied with this product and I will be purchasing five more rolls as soon as I can. I can't wait for my kinders to use this!
