This is perfect for an EMT/paramedic or EMT student. I've used this for my first 2 shifts and it's so easy to write everything I need, it's compact and I never forget it only complaint is there isn't an area for glucose which for diabetic patients it's important but I like there's a section on the back of each page for notes so that's where I just put it. It fits in the Swiss safe tactical First responder tool belt/holster with essential first aid products so instead of bringing my clinical documents with me when responding I just keep it in that and when we get back, I transfer information onto clinical documents. So if you are an EMT/paramedic student, you know someone that is a student or if you work as a first responder then this is the perfect item. Also the pen works really well

Very sturdy material great for a new EMT. In my personal opinion, there are a few unnecessary lines in the book they could free up space for more notes but overall a great product if I catch you throwing mud or splashing again I'm gonna spank you walk that way so there's nobody walking in all the way that way go keep going that way stop walking in the mud.

have not used in the field yet, but did fill out a couple of mock patients to see how well it worked. layout is good, all the pertinent headings for the gathering info are there but as is the case with many fill in the blank forms I find the spaces too small, I don't write that small, especially when I am in a hurry. Yes it means the book would get a little bigger, but it may be worth it.
