Being in this sport for a few dozen years now I have had the opportunity to use and test some fantastic cues over the years with cues ranging from a couple of hundos to a few thousand dollars and over the last ten years or so I switched completely to Lucasi Custom and Lucasi Hybrid Cues .. recently i got involved with a local very large pool hall that had run and set up some famous tournaments and has regular visits from some World Champions like Lori Jon Hasson and Shane Van Boening himself when they come through on the Joss Pro tour over many years .. The owner had seen me shoot all day training and wanted me to test out the LHC-98 he had in stock on his tables with the two different Lucasi Hybrid shafts .. and i was as usual stunned at Lucasi Performance.. He had the older 8 splice shaft design which is a fantastic Low Deflection shaft however I had obtained the new 10 splice design 11.75 Lucasi Hybrid ultra low deflection shaft for my personal Lucasi Custom LZE series cue recently, and I usually use the 12.75 shaft on the 9' tables however I gave the 11.75 10 Splice shaft a try and i was stunned at it's low deflection up and down the long table, and on top of it, there was just almost no vibration at all on a solid hit.. Regardless to say, I fell in love with this cue .. it's elegence was just beautiful with it's finish, and it's inlays were gorgeous enough where i can say that these photos just don't do it justice.. if you like everyone in your pool hall to just druel over the cue your shooting with and make you the center of attention, then this cue is for you.. With it's Uniloc piloted quick release joint its superfast for attachment and detachment you always get looks from other players wondering hey wait, did that guy not even have to screw his cue together? I have said it before and I will say it again, Lucasi in any form is by far the best professional production cues on the market.. There half the price as the usual big cat design we all know of, and with equal or better performance.. Your game and accuracy will definitely improve with this cue.. and I have gone through this seller now for a few items over the last couple of years and have been extremely happy with there quality of service .. So having to buy this type of equipment all the time I will choose to go through them when they have what I'm looking for on Amazon.. now I will add only one change that Lucasi made I wasn't crazy for, and that was using the new Kamui Professional tip this is not my preference after using it for a bit "however tip changes are no biggie at all" .. I was much more happy with the original Kamui Clear Black Soft tip instead of the Kamui soft pro tip which is mounted on this year's model ten splice shaft .. when I switched to the 11.75 which I had the Black on and I immediately ran 3 + racks shooting straight pool right off the first break with a cue I didn't even get used to yet.. the 11.75mm slim pro tapered tsc construction design gave me much more cue ball Control than I ever had before being able to use much more English when needed for tight spots and kicks where you normally wouldn't have a shot. I was simply blown away by this cue .. I shot with it all night but pro shops inside pool rooms are very pricey when you can buy them here for much less.. you don't have to worry about stock going bad if it's Amazon prime wharehouse stored which is alot of pool players have a big issue with buying over the net because Lucasi uses Nelsonite which is an additive to coat there wood which makes it warp resistant to a point you don't have to worry about leaving your cue in and out of your trunk or locker and it warping on you with temperature changes.. I haven't purchased this cue yet however I plan to soon, and I will do business with this seller again because of there impeccable customer service, and best pricing available on the net I've seen so far .. I will say it.. Bravo Lucasi for mating the Custom line with the Hybrid shaft .. keep up the good work guys and you'll always keep my business.. and Ladies wondering what to buy your pool playing husband for Christmas? This will blow his mind!!

Since purchasing this cue my accuracy has improved my game in every aspect! Not to mention the level of customer service that I received before and after the purchase was second to none! Thanks for a great product.

This is a beautiful cue and would be worth the price as an art piece even if it were not a great shooter, which it is! Very solid and sound feel, perfectly balanced. The uni-loc is very solid and secure. From the time I first picked it up, I knew this would be a keeper for me. Lucasi cues are a great value. I prefer this cue to other brands which cost much more. And ProGear delivered great customer service. Even followed up with suggestions for a second order weeks later.

Stick looks and feels amazing, and shoots great as well! Love it!!!
