Just as others, I was put on work from home once covid began resulting in being at my desk 8 hours a day. This resulted in purchasing a standing desk to help my posture and prevent myself from sitting in a chair all day. The mat itself is great and provides great cushion for your feet compared to carpet or hardwood. It is the perfect combination of soft and firm. It is also very easy to clean and has not shown any wear after months of using. I would definitely recommend this mat (especially on sale) for anyone who does a lot of standing at home whether its related to work or just normal at-home activities (such as cooking, etc).

This mat is very comfortable and really helped me avoid joint pain while standing for long periods while barefoot in the kitchen.
It was also attractive when we first got it. Over time, the surface wore away along the top of the beveled edge. Recently, pieces of the top surface started peeling away, making it look really bad. I looked it up, and I bought this just over two years ago (August 2021). That seems like a short time for this to last. I'm disappointed.
