Sub woofer repair
Tim Gentle✓ Verified PurchaseSeptember 28, 2023
My subwoofer started buzzing and rattling. Turned out the cone had broken loose half way around the speaker. This glue worked great! The subwoofer sounds as good as new. Easy to use with no mess. I allowed it the recommended 24 hours before hooking it back up. I'm very well pleased and highly recommend it!
Amazing product!

I would definitely buy this product again. But as many people have said in other reviews, I would let the glue dry a little longer than 24 hours before use.I tried using a catalyst with this glue and it didn't seem to help it like when using CA glues what so ever.
Works As Expected

I used this stuff to repair a small tear in my grandpa's old subwoofer. These speakers are probably from the 60's or 70's. The product looks like what was probably originally used to attach the voice coil dust covers, but I don't know how they got it to look so smooth and nice. I used it sparingly with my finger (it took a day or two to come off--probably should have worn a glove), smoothed it nicely on the backside of the speaker, but as a first timer, I coated it a bit thicker on the front side and didn't try to smooth it so much. It's definitely got a chemical smell on par with super glue, and be careful when you first open the bottle as it may be a bit pressurized, depending on your location, and will start coming out of the bottle. It won't be much, but this stuff is the real deal, and that's why I didn't have the opportunity to go grab gloves, and instead just used my bare finger.
flexible adhesive great for speaker repair

I used this adhesive to fix rattling from a cracked dust cap on a woofer in my Audi S7. I have the Bose system and this is a common issue where the plastic dust caps eventually crack and rattle giving the impression of a blown speaker. When I checked the speaker, I noticed that it's high excursion as I moved the cone through its range. Voice coil seemed to be OK so I proceeded with repair. Since the cap was cracked, I used a generous amount of adhesive on the crack and then around the base of the cap. Let it cure/dry for a day and then reinstalled the speaker in the car. Sounds great again.
