No no no.... I thought I was ordering the correct size I live on a top floor so my entrance door leads up to stairs in my living room. I wanted to try this out to see if I could keep my dog from hanging down the bottom of the stairs while being able to easily come up and down myself. This is way too big so either I didn't realize I ordered the wrong size which I'm pretty sure I measured correctly and this took an insane amount of time to come in and honestly at this point it's not even worth it to ship it back for a refund so I will be gifting this to someone else.

If I could give this thing zero stars I would. As previously stated beautifully by other reviewers, this thing (paraphrasing) is a complete turd. If you need something to create a barrier between two spaces (for pets or whatever), this is almost certainly NOT the solution for you. Buy a real adjustable indoor gate.

It's over 6 feet long and not adjustable. The flimsy sheet metal rods that come with it to stabilize the ends are more likely to cut your fingers while extending them than they are to help stabilize this thing.

With that said, my wife was determined to make it work to keep our small dog out of one area of the house.. so she set it up. It covers the space of roughly two and a half, maybe three full-size doors. Not only did the dog figure out how to slip under it in about thirty seconds, but the cheap plastic mounts have an adhesive that is so strong it's almost impossible to remove by hand, and when you manage to get it off the wall, along with it comes a nice piece of paint (or wallpaper or whatever is on your wall: kiss that little spot goodbye).

Unless you need four cheap white hooks with ridiculously strong adhesive, do yourself a favor and pass on this product. If you buy this thing... throw it immediately in the trash, you'd be doing the world a service by ridding it of one more of these things.

no instructions, no way to adjust length, broken white plastic hooks, 2 odd looking metal tubes that didn't fit together.
horrible STRONG chemical smell, i gagged opening up the package, NOT FOR ANYONE WITH CHEMICAL SENSITIVITIES!
i considered trying to use it as a barrier in my garden, but just put it inn the charity box. maybe someone can use it for something, in their garage, certainly not as a dog gate! total waste of money and there was no way i would wash that to get the chemical ordor out. REALLY DISAPPOINTING AND PROBABLY THE WORSE THING I BOUGHT ON AMAZON! not anything like the product photo.

Couldn't say more negative things about this item. Not adjustable length as described. Mounts are not the same as shown. Tried to return because the item IS NOT AS DESCRIBED and they want me to cover the shipping costs back to China! Ha! Their return claim email is a canned response since they know the product is terrible (probably). Not to mention I paid $28 then they dropped the price to $10. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

If I could give this product minus 5 stars, I would! Poor craftsmanship! Not at all like the description! Save your money!
