I try to buy gifts that are useable and not just a toy. So I purchased these for my niece and nephew. They loved them. And so did their parents. They were the perfect for a couple of three year olds. My son loves his backpack and likes to carry it himself. It was a bit big when we got it at almost 2, but after a year, it's fitting much better. It should fit him for another couple years now. We use this backpack for his plane carry-on to hold his toys and snacks. It's also his daily daycare backpack for extra clothes now that he's potty training. The bag is well made and has held up to a lot of wear and tear done by kid who tosses it around on the regular. It was a great purchase.

My son has the same backpack in a different color and has had it foe at least 2 years. He is really hard on his stuff and it is holding up great. I got this pink one for my daughter and I love that it now has a tab at the top by the handle ans and extra piece so it can almost be used as a "leash" like you can hold onto the long piece that is attached to backpack to keep kiddo close
