Since it is still August as I write this I can't know for sure how well this cover will provide efficient insulation come winter.
But it seems to be of very good quality construction and materials and when we tested it for it's fit on our air conditioner, it was a little snug as we put it on ( as it should be, don't want it blowing off by winter winds) and then appeared to fit like a glove and looked good.
Only gave it four stars since we don't know yet how it will work when the outdoor air is frigid and winter winds blow .

I ordered two of these covers expecting to receive 3 pieces. Per the images and description, I expected the Top Cover, ~1" thick foam insulation piece, and that foil sheet. You do not get any 1" foam cover piece. The images seem to indicate this foam piece that goes over the front of your A/C unit and then the Top Cover goes over that. The instructions on this product page even indicate this. They must be talking about the thin foil sheet, which i feel is misleading and also not great insulation vs a 1" thick foam piece. The Top Cover works great and fits nicely, I guess I'll just buy my own foam piece.

Not in use as of yet but I did try it on for size and t fits perfectly. Looking at it as a cover for our window air conditioner for the winter up here in Maine where the temps get down to -30 during the winter I can see where this will really help keep the drafts out of our home and reduce our heating bill. This also helps me NOT need to remove the unit from the window which is a real hassle as it weighs 150 pounds. Great product to save our heating bill and my 72-year-old back :-) .

This cover is really easy to put on. There are no written directions but the pictures are easy to follow . I have an AC in the wall that I don't use . I put the cover in to keep the humidity out . It will also be helpful in the wind and cold . I am finding it is making a difference. I am very happy with my purchase .
