Tiny but mighty

I could not initially make the device work, but it was promptly replaced. The new one arrived today, and I was up and running minutes later.
The images from such a small device are surprisingly good. The coin in the photos is about 13/16" diameter and the endoscope was about 1 - 1/8" away, so the field of view is roughly 60 degrees. This is about the optimum focal distance, though with a small sensor and aperture it produces usable images from 1" or a little less to beyond 3" and recognizable images even out to a few feet or more with ambient light.
The difference between the three images is that the ones with a bluish cast were taken using the endoscope's LED lighting, which gives everything a decidedly bluish cast. The two bluish images were shot at 1600x1200 and 640x480 resolution settings in the app; you can judge for yourself whether there is a noticeable difference in image quality.
The HD WiFi app also lets you choose 1280x720 and 1920x1080 resolutions, which are HD TV aspect ratios. In live view in the app, the image is always stretched to fill the screen, so the image may be distorted a bit. If you tap the camera button in the app to save a snapshot, though, the resulting stored JPEG image will show a correct perspective for the 4x3 aspects but will be stretched horizontally if you have an HD resolution selected. You can also save movies.
I have only played with the endoscope for a couple of hours, but it seems physically well made and I expect good longevity. I will update this review if that proves not to be the case.
The images from the endoscope display some field curvature and vignetting and the LED light adds a blue cast that falls off toward the edges of the frame, but such minor flaws are to be expected in a device at this price point. After all, it is designed to provide information about otherwise unreachable areas, not for fine art. For magazine covers or weddings, buy a good DSLR for a few hundred times the price.

This is a good product. You must be within your home or somebody elses internet for it to work. Thought it would just work with my phone only but it didn't. Maybe operator error but I won't admit to it.
Bought for mechanic husband, and he liked it!

Got this for my husband (I think it was a lightening deal?). He's a mechanic and he's complained about not being able to see in the books and crannies of an engine without crawling under the vehicle or using a pocket extending mirror.
He loves it. It has an app that you have to download (works on IPhone, that's all I know peeps) and you look for the camera under your WiFi connections.
The picture is actually not terrible, and the ring of leds around the camera are bright enough to provide sufficient lighting.
He brought it to his work and uses it to check for weird leaks, cracks and ever elusive dropped 10 MM sockets.
Also good for peeking into walls, under cabinets, and harassing my cat. I want to get a second one and use it around the house. :)
It's durable- we abused it pretty thoroughly and it bends back well.
Don't know if it's waterproof, but it wipes clean pretty easy.
Charges with a standard micro USB (the thin flat kind not the mini USB, google the difference for pics).

Very handy and good quality endoscope

The media could not be loaded. This is very handy and good quality endoscope. I used it to run the data cable between two floors behind the wall. Because of the studs behind the drywall, I had made bunch of holes on the drywall. Using this, I was able to see where the blockage are and how I need to run the cable. If I had this before I started the cable pull, I did not have to made bunch of hole on the wall.
I got 5m (16.5 feet) long Kzyee Wireless Endoscope which is quite long for my purpose. It can support video resolution up to 1920 x 1080 dpi. For my application even the 640 x 480 resolution was crisp. Set up was very easy as well. 1) Turn on the device and connect to it via wifi. You can easily change wifi and the password from the default. 2) Download free HD Wifi app. 3) Open this HD Wifi app to see the live image captured by the camera at the end of the endoscope. You can record video or take a picture which get saved to your phone.
