4/27/2023 - My pencils were delivered today. I love the carrier! As for the pencils, I've only used a few, just to test. The pencils have decent pigmentation and are smooth to color with. If you are a serious artist, these probably won't meet your needs, but Ggood value for the price!

I bought my first set of 72 ct in the canvas roll about 3 years ago. I was very impressed. The set had a weird, or unusual, shade of yellow I really liked for the 1st layer for coloring faces, arms, etc. Used it so much, it was a stub in no time! Oh no! Ordered a second set in the roll version. Was told by service rep that they updated, and "improved" their pencils. That improvement caused me to lose out on my favorite pencil in the bunch! Somebody over there at H.G. Legend decided to REMOVE that unusual pale yellow from their line up of the canvas roll 72 ct set. Wouldn't you know-just my luck!!! I didn't find it in the 120 ct tin container set either. I know as I bought it too hoping against all odds it might have been added back in. WRONG! So, I have purchased all items they sell with zero luck. Tried to recreate it myself-didn't work no matter what combo I tried. It's so odd in that when you swatch down that yellow, sometimes it looks like it has a touch of olive green in it; other times it looks maybe a light tan. I hear they are working on a new, "super" set of pencils. Hooray, maybe it will return in this latest set, that I will buy of course. They are lovely pencils despite my loss of my favorite color. Will be great when they increase their color size to 150, like PC. Yep, I think they are that good. Good enough to compete with a big U.S. favorite brand of colored pencils.

These were taken on a trip (I did not want to chance ruining my expensive brand). For the price I paid, I was very much surprised at the quality. I can blend and layer well. I would not recommend for a valuable art project because I don't know about light fastness. Go ahead and take the chance on these.

I'm super excited about the value and quality of this set of colored pencils and their case. I thought I was only buying a case -- and was pleasantly surprised to find it pre-loaded with a colorful array of colored pencils! Such a great value. The case is excellent quality - sturdy and well made. The pencils worked well in my Journaling Bible and the eraser (included) actually worked to remove a marking I had drawn in error.
