Came with a cracked cap

Great syrup. Even though the bottle was wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap, the bottle cap was cracked, leaving a little bit of syrup dripping out.

First, the bad: same shipping problem someone else had: maybe a tsp leaked out of the closed top during shipping.
The absolutely awesome: since I had to clean up the bottle, opened it. And poured a tiny bit into a tasting dish. Oh my god is this the most perfect huckleberry flavor! LOVE IT.
The main issue is: the leakage combined with "refrigerate after opening" makes me
wonder about the "shelf" (or "refrigerator") life I have with it. I may have to consume it pretty quickly instead of storing it.

This syrup from Kalispell is so good and full of huckleberries. So far, we've only had it on pancakes but I'm going to search for recipes. What's this about a huckleberry margarita? Would've made a huckleberry milkshake but had no ice cream. This is the real thing. Replaced the bottle that was confiscated by the TSA, it was accidentally placed in my carry on bag because my checked bag weighed a little too much.
