I bought this a week ago, and cannot comment on what the seeds will actually look like when/if they sprout. This review is more of an unboxing and first impressions, so please keep that in mind.

I bought this kit as a project for me and my 3.5 year old son to plant together. Everything came adequately packaged and the directions were simple and clear enough to follow. We put everything together and planted the seeds last weekend, and the soil is holding moisture very well. A few things to keep in mind:

1. The soil disks that are included take a lot longer to rehydrate and expand than the directions suggest. Don't lose hope if your still waiting after the 10 minute mark. It took ours about 30, and I ended up manually breaking some of it up in the containers to speed up the process. In retrospect, another solution may have been to break apart the soil disks and equally distribute them before watering. They do completely rehydrate and fill the containers.
2. When first hydrating the soil discs, use a small amount of rolled up paper towel to stop up the drainage hole at the bottom of each container.

A note to the manufacturers: While everything was packaged neatly, I do think there could have been more cushioning in the box to keep things from rolling around. I really appreciate the use of shredded paper for instead of non-recyclable material, but more of it would have been great because the contents were definitely able to roll around some inside the box. I can imagine how something might get damaged inside if it had too rough of a road between your warehouse and somebody's door. Just a friendly suggestion.

You must do your own research into the proper scarification, stratification, and germination process otherwise your germination rates will suffer.
Despite the poor and incorrect instruction on the packaging more of the seeds have germinated than expected. The Flame trees especially germinated quicker than expected.
The only major concern is that I had gotten another tree seed bundle from another seller as well and both came with Dawn Redwoods seeds. The problem being despite both packages saying dawn redwood the seeds looked completely different. With further research I found that the other product was correct and this one's Dawn Redwood seeds were not actually Redwood seeds.

Comes with everything you need.

Everything came just with it just waiting for them to start growing.

I love this little kit, came wo 10 different bonsai tree seeds, wooden name tags, and my second favorite thing is actually the wooden box they came in, the top slides off and on. It actually looks hand made. I'll definitely be using it after I do all the seeds. Great buy and great price for what you get, definitely recommend ☺ï¸
