Nice but too small for soups

I really wanted to love these, but I will end up using them for ice cream instead. I was wanting to use them as soup bowls, but they are too small for my opinion. If it was a creamy soup such as tomato basil or potato soup, it would work. However, I made beef stew and I prefer a larger size.

Every year we host a pumpkin carving party and serve two different kinds of chili with toppings. It has grown over the years and i no longer have enough real bowls for everyone. We tried paper bowls and they did fine but these were easy to hold, walk around with and sturdy enough to for the hot chili and held up to seconds. I have ordered these twice and will continue to do so.
