These filters work as expected. They help keep grounds inside the basket better than just the basket alone.
I gave 4 stars because the center hole will tear sometimes when pushing the filter down over the tube in the basket. When it tears it lets more grounds escape. It would be nice if that center hole were somehow reinforced against tearing.

I bought these to use in an older percolator.(larger basket style that needed the old 4"-4.5" filters)
Being a larger square that folds up and makes a self contained pouch does make cleaning the percolator
basket easier. BUT is does take a few seconds longer to get your pot ready. If I knew this in advance...
I probably would not have purchased the large amount of filters that I did. (should have experimented with
the smallest package)

I ordered these filters for my coworker because her mother received a Percolator for Christmas and the local grocery store did not carry them. I was able to find the filters on Amazon and I had the filters delivered to her house with my Prime Shipping. She said they fit the Percolator great and now her mom can enjoy her coffee :)

These are PERFECT. My husbands will not drink anything once he finds a coffee ground in it....getting him to try percolated coffee was a challenge because there was always little grounds in the coffee.....BUT once I put one of these in the basket--not any more grounds and now he is addicted to percolated coffee and is so glad I kept asking him to please try!

I find my old percolator gives me the best cup of coffee and keeps coffee hot for as long as needed. These filters now give me every cup coffee grounds free. I love them, easy to use. Used coffee grounds are contained in a little package that is mess free and easy to dispose.
