Repaired binding of Church Hymnals Won't know durability for at least a year of wear

I have just gotten a kitten and he is very active. I came home and my lace curtains were ripped and tattered in a few places. I didn't know what to do but I was able to take them down and mend them on my sewing machine which was very hard to do. When I got up in the morning about a month later there was a huge giant rip right above where they had previously been mended and I found the tape on Amazon and thought it would be perfect and it was! It was easy to use and stuck to the lace and you can hardly tell where the curtains were mended! It was a lifesaver for me until I am ready to purchase more curtains. I am very pleased! It just isn't for books!. Works great and is easy to use and sticks like glue, I could not be happier!

The tape roll is only wrapped in cellophane; there is no box to protect it, so you'll need to be careful not to damage the edges of the roll while in storage.

Am back to coin & card magic and have the 1994 12th printing of counts cuts and Subtlety which doesnt have the greatest binding in soft cover. Had the Ascanio spread near the back of the book and the binding started to show, so awhile ago I ordered your 1 in. wide clear tape and today I ran a piece right down between the 2 pages and the tape did the job, each edge just touching the lettering but since the tape is clear, no problemo and like we used to say on my job many years ago before I retired, "this stuff is better than Liguini with clam sauce".

If you're someone like me who is studying a specific topic, and is going to be thumbing through the same book or books a thousand times, this is perfect.
