I just can't say enough wonderful things about the peel & stick wood planks! I am a novice at home remodel projects, so I decided to start off with something that seemed simple and straightforward. I pulled the two white strips off the adhesive on the back of each wood plank, and viola! My project had begun. The installation process was easy enough for me to do on my own. Each plank is indeed reclaimed wood (not faux wood), therefore, some planks may have imperfections (nail holes, knotholes, etc). However, such tends
to add to the charm and beauty of the wall. The planks are sturdy but easy enough to cut with a handsaw. I will note that the adhesive strips can be a little tricky to get off (as others have mentioned) so I contemplated giving 4-stars. However, the customer service I received when I ordered more wood planks was exceptional. I requested more grey planks rather than brownish, and they tailored the order to my needs. Additionally, they were very responsive to my questions and really worked with me to complete my project. The reclaimed wood planks are awesome, but their customer service sets them apart from the rest. Hence, the 5-stars. If you are on the fence about buying...go for it!

Wonderful real barn wood! The rustic beauty and imperfections make it all the better. I put it in my 5th wheel kitchen. The adhesive on it is incredible!! No worries there or with added weight which was very minimal. I put it over a very light colored wall and with the imperfections of nail holes and/or inexact edges, I found that using a black magic marker on the wall first made a huge difference. Wherever there was an edge or nail hole that would allow the wall to peak through, I used the magic marker first and then stuck the barn wood up. It's been on through sub-zero to 100+ degree weather, 3 moves, and not a fraction of movement from any of the boards.

I can't say enough about this product and how much it surprised me. It's easy to use, great quality wood and their customer service was outstanding. They got back to me right away when I panicked and needed to order more ans asked about getting more brown wood due to being half way done with wall and needing more. I do recommend making sure you have all you need before you start ( that was my fault bc it's true wood and all orders might have different color variations) I underestimated the size of the room we were doing.

To give you an idea of size my husband and I designed this using this easy to use product and it measures 8 foot by 20 ( we have 10 foot ceilings ) that gives you idea of the size you see in pictures. I ordered this product to use on an accent wall in the living room. I like the variation of colors in the wood giving it a rustic look. The pieces were 48" long x 3.5" wide by about 3/8" thick. The features and details are correct in describing it as real wood, aged, and weathered. However, be aware it looks to be wood from pallets. Each piece has two strips of foam double stick tape for installation. I had anticipated having to used some liquid nails to supplement, or possible a brad nailer. No need, the adhesive is profession grade. Now, that said, this strong adhesive has a drawback, it is difficult to peel the backing off the tape. I used a table saw and a jigsaw to cut to size and trimmed it with 1"x1/2" pine stained to match.

So I like this product. It sticks VERY well. If you stick this on... good luck getting it off easily. No issues getting the backing of the adhesive off. Hardest part was using my jigsaw to cut around my outlets. I have this installed on a bedroom wall behind my TV and fireplace. From the pictures you can see the browns and the greys. It turned out beautiful. Make sure you have a saw of some sorts to cut it however a handsaw would work fine. This is thin wood. I had 65 square feet needed and I ordered the 43 and 26 kits. I had about a square foot left. The pieces that came were in good shape, none broken, and its interesting to see that the pieces that had holes on them from knots etc... had a form of black construction paper taped to the back of it. It works and I have no issues with that. I would order this again in a heartbeat. I still think its semi expensive but its easy to work with and easy to install. Just have a plan and make sure to measure well!
