The step counter is accurate. I will say that if your legs are restless like mine, you will want to take it of when sitting, I swing my legs unconsciously and this step counter will count your leg swings as steps.
The bad thing is that the clip comes easily off my shoe or sock and I've had it fall off several times. I finally lost it while on vacation and was not paying close attention and lost it while on a boat ride likely when going up the ladder to get to the seating deck. I retraced my steps but couldn't find it.
I will buy another soon but will look for a better clipping mechanism in my next step counter

I use a walker to ambulate. This is the only pedometer I have found that counts my steps using my walker. By using this pedometer, I can challenge myself to increase steps over time. This pedometer encourages me to challenge myself. I love that it shuts off automatically when I stop walking. Thank you!

I bought this because I could no longer find the App for my old FitBit Bud. It work well. You reset the steps instead of it resetting at Midnight. The display is very visible with large numbers. The bud slips into a clip that you attach to your pants waist or elsewhere. The only con is it is too bulky for the average woman.
