I didnt purchase from here but bought hem at a local home depot. Just to clarify the lady who gave 1 star is incorrect. You can use the lights without the remote or with it. You press the lights on the pucks to scroll through colors and off setting. The remote just allows you to skip colors or turn it off and on instantly.
Remote control doesn’t work

7 out of the 8 lights worked but the remote control didn't. We even bought a new battery for it but still nothing. The way we intended to use the lights required the remote to work so it's basically useless. If the remote worked I would give this 4-5 stars but being that that's literally the only reason we bought it I can only give one star. Super disappointed with this.
