Defective bags! To start with, they are so extremely thin as to not even be usable for a lot of normal uses. The handles tend to break right off when you are trying to tie the full bag up. Don't try to put in any box type trash items with corners because they will poke right through. But maybe the worst thing of why I said they are defective is, miscellaneous bags throughout the shipment just have slits in them. Real nice. At first I thought maybe something about shipping or handling because a goodly number of my Amazon orders arrive already opened for some reason. I have complained to no avail. However these slits do not correspond to a slipped box cutter or anything like that. And the slit bags just show up scattered throughout the whole order of bags, not just through a bunch of bags together if you know what I mean. That's why I cannot figure out what could have caused the slits other than manufacturing defects.

But it is very hard for me to believe that the person or outfit selling these on Amazon do not know exactly what they are selling. I am sure these bags were acquired very cheap then sold as "normal" bags.. lucrative deal.

The problem for me now is finding normal bags since I use a lot of them and there are several suppliers selling the same looking product.

I keep a box of these in the car trunk. I use a couple per week to keep the interior of my car tidy "” receipts, drive-through material, water bottles, packaging, etc., all gets stuffed into a bag until it is filled, then the handles are tied and it is conveniently transported to the nearest receptacle (yes, I know, and then the nearest landfill). I don't get grocery bags like these from stores because I have reusable bags, and I haven't found an alternative that works for my purposes (they also work for kitty litter cleanup time). One box will last me into the next decade, I suspect.

I use these at home for trash/recycling and cat litter poo bags. Edges of bags -so far- seem sealed nicely, haven't had any leaks when putting soda cans in when they still have a little bit left in them. Haven't had any with holes. Don't use kitchen garbage bags - I use these types of bags instead and take outside daily instead of having garbage stewing in a trash bag for a few days in my kitchen. I hang them off of drawer knobs and haven't had a problem with the handles stretching/breaking. And have put a decent amount of weight in them and haven't had any split or come apart at the seams.

CONS:
The bags I received are hard to 'separate'. Have a bundle hanging on a nail. When trying peel a bag off the bundle, sometimes get multiple bags. Also ALL of them have been hard to open - do just wet fingers and then they open fine. (other bags I've gotten they hang and you just swipe at the front bag and it would partially open and peel off the bundle) At home it is fine but if I was using them in a store it might be an issue.

OVERALL:
For my use I'm pleased with these bags but if I were using them in a store I would be a bit frustrated with them not opening easily. Last thing I would want is a cashier licking his/her finger and wiping it on my bag.

We had a ban placed on plastic shopping bags in Hawaii about a year ago. It was a sad day for me as I reused these plastic bags to pick up and dispose of trash, carry and transport items. It was just so multi functional. They were perfect to have in the car for the little pieces of rubbish that could accumulate during long car rides. They were also great to place wet clothes in after a day at the beach or the pool. The most valuable thing we used it for was for picking up our dog's poop, and putting my kids dirty diapers in them. All we need to do was tie them up it kept the smell from lingering everywhere, or fly's from getting to them...it was, and still is, a necessity for us!! (Can't use paper bags for all of the latter items. Lol.) So I finally decided to look to purchase these types bags for all my needs listed above, and more.

Very satisfied. No holes at the bottom. Thick enough to pick up poop, but thin enough so that I don't feel as guilty for using a plastic bag in the first place.

The cost was very reasonable, considering dog poppy bags are more expensive for less.

The size of the bags are as stated. Not too big and not too small. Standard plastic size bag you would have gotten at the supermarket or take out at a food restaurant.

I bought these bags to place inside the small trashcans around the house. I also use them for cleaning the cat litter box. Until now, I just used the bags from the supermarket, but they run out more often than we shop for groceries, so I finally did a search online and found these. They're just what I needed, and should last quite a while. Unlike the bags you get from stores, these aren't joined at the bottom...so no holes. Good stuff.
