These 1/8 bits have really held up well using my X-Carve. I've used them on wood, vinyl and aluminum, with lots of hours and carves in now and zero breakage.
Update: one year since purchase and I have yet to break any of these 1/8" bits. This is on a x-carve cutting out design made by students ages 12-18. Lots of programming errors, but the bits have held up. Definitely a great purchase

Best bits for aluminum cutting up to 1/2" thick. I run them at pass depth of .0625 deep. 18000 RPM Spindle speed, Feed rate .8 IPS and plunge rate of .05 IPS. This setting works great on Shopbot desktop CNC. Still on my first bit and cutting perfect.

This is my second order of the single flute 1/8 inch and they perform great for my needs and acrylic. Just wish they stayed sharp longer. I only use these to cut plexi and acrylic and they result in nice clean cuts when going play low speeds. Excellent for the money.
