Obviously I bought this for airsoft so treat that as you will. Feels solid enough for what I do, supports the weight of a ton of jute and vegetation, very adjustable and it fits decently. One thing is I'm 6 foot tall and so the hood isn't as big as I'd like it but it works, just would have liked it a bit bigger so it drapes better and doesn't put as much weight on my head.
Needed some work, but an EXCELLENT basis to start from.

I purchased this with the Arcturus Ghillie Suit Thread and when they came in I went to work. I put on a few educational vids as I worked and was finished in a few hrs time. I don't like the entire "shaggy bush" look that some do with a ghillie, this is mostly to just break up my out line so I grabbed random color threads, from 4-8 threads at a time, and tied them to the center of each paracord section. This was a good beginning and I went and sprayed the whole thing with some light passes of brown camo paint to darken it down a little more. After that it dried in the outside open air (and to also remove some of that paint smell) for about 3-4 days before i tied it to a string and hauled it around the yard behind me as I did chores, mostly to slightly unravel the threads and give it a rougher look. Satisfied with the final outcome over a set of ATACS FG.
Very well made foundation.

Has correct woodland pattern. Material is strong and tie-down points are stitched well. I tried to pull apart at what I thought may be weak points but everything held up well. Money well spent.
A solid ghillie base if you have the patience

The viper hood and cape seem pretty sturdy so far. I spent a lot of time (4-6 hours) tying on fibers and natural veg ties to create this suit to match my environment perfectly. It is what it is. A solid viper hood base and cape, if you want one premade that is decent you're looking at well over 400$ and it still won't be as good as one you spend time making yourself. I am 6'6 and less than 8 feet away in the first pic kneeling down and not even really trying to hide.
Great hood for the price

I bought this for airsofting because I wanted to feel like Kapkan and I've worn it twice so far. The whole thing adjusts using elastic cords that are super long so I adjusted them down with a bit of room and then tied and trimmed the excess. I trimmed off the extra buckles too that are used for attaching a cape which I don't plan on using. The mesh on the sides of the hood are nice for airflow but the hood tends to fall down without any weight on it. I'm in the process of attaching ghillie yarn to it and it holds a ton of material. I bought 2 bundles off here and need to buy 2 more but it's turning out to be very bushy like I wanted it to be.
I'll update this review after I finish setting it up and use it. Pretty durable for the price and very practical for what I'm using it for.
