Very nice product as you can see. Definitely takes two people to install.

Makes getting on and off the pontoon much easier. A few of the bolts were a little difficult to install, but may be from how the framing on the underside of the pontoon lays out. I'm 220 pounds, and I worry that if we take someone in the upper 200's it may be an issue. Guess we'll find out.

Shipping: The ramp was delivered on time took about 7 days. Wasn't available on Prime which would have been so much better. So spoiled by Prime two day shipping anything else just sucks! You know the feeling I'm sure. Anyway the Ramp review. First impression: Came in a huge 7.6'+ box no kidding. Very heavy with very little foam protecting the edges and ends. This explains how mine was received slightly damaged also deducted one star for this as it's a structural issue not just cosmetic. Other than the twisted frame it Seems well made and sturdy although haven't walked on it yet. We will test and revise this review. Installation: Couple things we had to do in order to mount this to our 2006 22' Sun Tracker Regency Party Barge. 1). Had to separate ramp from frame, the thing was way to heavy to try to man handle it in place together as one unit. In order to get ramp out of frame you have to remove (stops) which are square plastic pieces with two nuts and bolts total of four on inside of frame two in front and two in back. They are safety stops so ramp can't slide out or back too far. 2). Now that we decided to mount frame first we had to remove our trailer steps out of the way to feed the 7.6' ramp in after frame was mounted. Once steps were clear and ramp was removed it was way easier to hold up, measure, clamp rack in place, mount frame with provided hardware. Would have liked to have seen 10 stainless steel bolts, lock nuts with washers instead of 8 small self tapping screws. We will replace those later with meatier hardware. 3). Had to relocate our winch and safety chain eyelets forward more to be able to reach it. The original position was not accessible after ramp was installed. 4). Slide in ramp, attached front stops by over extending ramp to back, than slide ramp forward and installed front stops. 5). Connected rubber latch bolts with lock nuts. This rubber latch works great nice and tight probably will help with rattling too. Ramp is covered in what I call grip tape which was on your skateboard. The good part about it will be when wet won't be slippery. Grip tape was pale grey, which was so much better Black color as not to get too hot when out for awhile. That was a thoughtful idea. Ours did have air bubbles like another review. We just popped Them and rubbed them a little and that seemed to fixed that. Sliding action: relatively smooth. The ramp rolls on two plastic rollers on rear of ramp. Wheels ride on channel of frame that are lined with 2" strip of plastic. Seemed to go in and out smoothly. May need to use some grease at some point. Can't wait to try it, our wiener dogs will love it too. Wish it had a handle to pull it out, has a hole on end tab maybe for a lanyard? Would have been better 8' unit, however the manufacturer informed us that they discontinued that size because of shipping issues. All and All it looks like it was designed executed very well. Would have given it 5 stars but came with that damage to frame which may have been damaged during shipping but ultimately goes back to manufacturer lack of packaging standards.
Use: Just got back from he lake, ramp worked great! Was very easy to move in and out. Support people very easily. Our dog Veinna had no issues running up and down. We have a fresh water wash down on our bow, this was very useful in rinsing down the sand that tracked up the ramp. I will attach pics of ramp in use.
After 5 uses: really happy with the ramp using it every time we use the boat. More air bubbles have appeared, maybe from the heat and the particular glue is having a reaction.

We had our local marina install the ramp for us. They said it was not difficult at all to install. We have found the ramp to be extremely helpful for our friends and family that have mobility problems. Comes in super handy when we go to our local beach on our pontoon. It allows people to get on and off the boat that normally couldn't. We have no issues with it while we are driving. We don't notice it at all.

This ramp is easy to install and such a wonderful walk to the shoreline, from our pontoon boat great access for the disabled and if injured while playing on shore, what a great attachment for your boat.
