I bought these to use with HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) i.e. swordfighting. They're light and very easy to move in due to the articulated knee. Most leg guards are too long for me and the knee on the guard isn't where my actual knee is. These work great for me and they don't slide down. Highly recommend!

The item feels secure. I did take away one star, this is due to the snap buttons one was damaged upon arrival it looked like it got cut off so it doesn't stay in place. Other than that it's a great product and really stays on. I bought this so I could wear shorts so we are talking direct skin contact and it's comfortable. If you wear them over pants it's still comfortable. Straps were long but I have skinny legs so it's understandable. First impact happened with a big rock a semi truck kicked up. The impact hit hard I thought for sure it was broken. When we got to our destination it was not damaged just a small scratch and it was about a 4 inch sized rock at 60mph. To me it was worth it, I have a habit of touching the muffler with my knees so it protects me from that as well, it leaves the backside of my legs open but I'm usually more cautious of it here otherwise I'll learn fast 🤣. I will say if I have an impact direct on to the ground I feel as though it would just break apart however at the least it will break the impact for less damage. Good luck to riders and be safe!
Forgot to mention I have a Cruiser if that matters.

Cons: buttons are plastic snap on for easy removal of padding, mine was damaged but I can imagine that they will break easily.
