If I had purchased this one in real amber, it would cost me an arm and a leg. This one in clear resin is just a great. I have put a butterfly in clear resin and they last forever. You have to be equally careful not to scratch it, it looses it beauty, Great size and not like the insect in real amber I bought, it wasn't worth it the money, twice as small as the one shown on the picture.

My daughter is going to love this amber fossil dragonfly replica for her birthday. It is "large", fills a youngster's hand. The amber (resin) has an amber color and is clear enough to see the details of the dragonfly. It's a great gift or a desktop paperweight. Or whatever. I was impressed when I received it. If you have the right person/child for this, buy one - you won't be sorry. This particular item is hand made and shipped from China - takes a few weeks. Be impressed.
