I am a qualified army sniper and I was looking for a cheap alternative to many other viper hoods on the market. Overall I was impressed with the hood. After applying jute and dirtying it up, the hood was able to fit into a dump pouch on my kit and I could pull it out and wear it quickly when needed. The only complaint is that the inside is white, so we spray painted the interior. Overall it is a good piece of gear to have and is durable enough to handle actual military operations.

But only after you find a way to add the yarn to it. Some hints about best ways to attach the yarn to it would of been nice. I just started grabbing hand fulls and mixing the colors together and then pulling them apart the adding them to the loops So that one color would kinda fade into the next without any big color change.
I used dry grass with the darker greens as well as light green with brown and black. and just a touch of grey. Because I live in Missouri the colors will be best for my area.in fall or maybe late summer.
I plan on getting 2 more for winter and one for spring. When the colors change
The yarn itself (sold seperately) grabs leaves and sticks, This is a good thing, as it will help you to look more like the area your in. All you really need to do is crawl around. just remember unless you find a way to tie the yarn to this suit, you will lose yarn and fast.

The media could not be loaded. This works well,if you put time into constuction and pick you colors well.I used arcturus ghillie suit thread ,tan and mixed woodland. Suit came out great,I think it will last a lifetime. I had a china ghillie, threads aways falling out. Not this suit. Once you tie threads on they are not coming off. I will buy again next season I want to make a dark green suit for early bow season. I have had hunters and deer look right thru me, while sitting on the ground with no foreground cover only background cover. One hunter was looking for me could not see me at 15 yards nothing between us. Very happy with purchace.

This product is made stupendously, the cape and hood do not feel like they've been made cheaply, rugged fabric on the cape so it won't tear easily, great product overall! It's well worth what you pay for it.

Very impressed, purchased to replace a project piece for airsofting. The product arrived promptly with Amazon Prime, I have a much more expensive one in Atac AU pattern from a different company that is easily the price of this one three or four times over. Despite that, this one came in a very good Coyote color (some companies Coyotes are a deep Coyote Tan, this one was a properly good Coyote color that matched the rest of my gear)

The quality on this product far exceeded what I expected for the price range of sub $40, in fact it far surpasses the quality control of the Atac AU one I mentioned a while ago. Bungies at every location you would expect to allow you to adjust it to your specifications. It has the blank portions around the shoulders in just the right places to allow it to go under a vest (To keep it further controlled and kept close to your core without it going over any part of a vest.)

The hood is a part where several companies will make it too big, this one however was just the right size. The material is light weight and the mesh on the hood will allow it to breath easily. Over all can't find any faults in it, added with the nice price range for something that otherwise is extraordinarily over priced this is earned a full five stars.
