This backboard is very nice in both quality and craftsmanship. It's not wood - more like molded plastic, but you're throwing steel tip darts at it, so I think that's actually better.

I was delightfully surprised that it came with darts and a dartboard - especially at this price point. Everything you need is included, so it's a great value.

Nothing in my house is brown, so I decided to paint the backboard white. A little tape, a can of white satin furniture spray paint, and three thin coats later it looks amazing. The paint bled through the tape on the chalkboards, but I was able to scrape it off easily with no damage using an exacto knife. A couple hours of work, and it turned out great.

I also added a Viper laser throw line (shown attached to the bottom of the cabinet), so that I didn't have to put a giant throw line sticker on my basement floor. It works great and was easy to install and adjust.

My only complaint is the light. It's too far back to light up the board, and the color of it just doesn't help in any way. However, the cabinet looks cool with it on if you have another adequate light source nearby.

All-in-all, I'm very happy with the product and would buy it again.

First, the Chatham cabinet came impeccably packaged. There was a box, inside a box, and heavy-duty padding all around. This probably could have taken a shot during shipping and still be alright. Next, the cabinet itself is excellent. It's nice looking, and I love that the Cricket scoreboards are built-in to the inside of the cabinet doors. You use a chalk white dry erase marker to keep score (included, and also easily available on Amazon; they work perfectly on the Cricket scoreboards). This cabinet is solid and attractive. It also comes with a pretty decent bristle board and two sets of steel tip house darts. I bought a different higher-end dart board to put in before I even received this cabinet. So, I'm giving the included bristle board to a friend. But again, it is decent. And, the included house darts are fine for house darts, but maybe not necessarily what you might want to use for your personal darts (I am an avid darter). All-in-all, I am VERY pleased with this cabinet!!! I recommend it very highly. PS - The clubhouse in our community has four of these cabinets and dartboards installed. The darts league uses them all the time. That's where I came across this and decided to get one. They stand up exceptionally well to lots of use and are super-functional). I will add a photo, if I can, after I finish my setup.

Caught the Woodhaven on sale for 50% off. That's what makes it worth it to me. Box came all ripped up and the back of the board was damaged a little bit. Luckily it's the back of the board. Missing rubber feet that stabilizes the board itself. Going to have to buy those and better darts separately. I don't mind at the price point I paid. If I had paid full price I would probably be pretty irritated about it tbh.

Cabinet is nicely made and easy to install. Board is surprisingly good. Feels very substantial and there is a nice satisfying "Thud" when the darts hit it. I couldn't be happier. Great value for money!!

The cabinet itself is very handsome, and was quick to put together.. NOTE many reviews indicate the kit was shipped missing hardware (and I nearly believed I joined their ranks), however, I found the hardware bag tucked in a TRIANGLE SHAPED Shipping BOX that protects the corner of the cabinet (it's very easy to miss, but look for red tape as you would with any do it yourself furniture). I deducted one star here as the cabinet's finish was peeling in one spot, about 2 inches long on the inside right if the cabinet (bummer), but the cosmetic issue wasn't egregious enough to force a decision to return..
The "˜self-healing' dartboard is fairly thick, which yields great gameplay, and the wire frame can be rotated if you play a ton (to avoid so much wear to certain point zones). As some reviews mentioned, the thickness blocks the LED lights from shining down the entire surface of the board, however, since this cabinet is set 81inches high (for the bullseye to be at appropriate height), I rarely turn the LEDs on because they're simply hard to reach as they're on top of the cabinet
All told, I'd buy it again"¦ and if I was feeling particularly handy, I'd sand and paint the case in the future depending on how it holds up"¦
