I was a bit disappointed that I bought the fluffier comforter but it fell a bit short of expectations. It actually feels good and is soft and comfortable. Biggest complaint is how slippery the outer shell is. The comforter slips off during the night. I wanted to avoid a cover since it would add weight and I fear the comforter would slide around in the cover and possibly clump up. For the price, there may be better alternatives. I just got bored shopping around and bought into the seller's own praise of the comforter.
October 2023 update: I have been using it now for several weeks. It is better than I thought initially. It seems to puff up more as you use it. With a duvet cover it stay put better and it really seems to be all weather. I used it when AC was on and now when the heat is on. Comfortable in each situation.

This comforter is perfect! It's snuggly warm but not too warm. It's the perfect weight and size (I bought a king size). I stayed at an Airbnb that had this comforter and immediately ordered it when I got home. Highly recommend! I'll be ordering again for an additional bed.
