This has a solid place in my EDC (everyday carry). I love this flashlight. No batteries to worry about. The built in lipo has great life. I use my light a lot. Not for long periods of time usually but for inspections, looking under the fridge for a lego, checking for burr during sharpening, etc... I hunted for a light with a good pocket clip for months. These typical bulky, round lights that hold an 18650 batteries or AAA have garbage pocket clips. The round shape to them is very unnatural and uncomfortable in the pocket. This seems nit picky when you haven't carried the Stiletto. I had grown comfortable to these bulky, round lights because I hadn't had anything else. After I broke another Nitecore, I had to hunt down a USA manufactured flashlight that changed the game for me. I didn't want the same name everyone has but this is their house. Surefire just makes good stuff. It's a name I was made familiar with during my time in the military. Literally, everyone in the military carries or has carried Surefire something. The idea of having something made in the USA with a massive manufacturing backing from a company that stands behind its military and law enforcement personnel brings a lot of pride and faith in the product. The form factor of this light is remarkable. It fits my pocket almost as good as it fits my hand. It's extremely ergonomic in both. The pocket clip is tough as nails. I prefer a very tight pocket clip so I removed the clip, bent it a little more and reinstalled it for that super tight clip. I've been carrying this light EVERY SINGLE DAY. It's fallen 2 stories now twice, been run over once and keeps coming back for more. I've only charged it twice since I bought it, amazingly. I don't always use the max output though. When I do, it's by the "tailcap". Temporary light for a quick scan. Strobe to disorient the kids long enough for me to grab the last piece of pizza and get out of there! But low is my most used setting. Something that doesn't blind you, doesn't create a bright reflection. The user interface is so simple. Off the tail, it's all temporary. Apply pressure, light turns on. Remove pressure, light turns off. It's max lumens. Three quick taps and you go into strobe. Same technique as before. On the main panel, usb charging plug at the bottom with a waterproof rubber gasket. Above those, to the left is your mode button and to the right is the light activation. The body is a tough plastic of some sort and an aluminum head. After a few minutes on high, the aluminum can get very hot but they've put that warning on there so you don't forget. It's got decent throw and a wide, hard wall like we're used to with Surefire lights. My only gripe is every once in awhile I'll find the light is on in my pocket. But with its battery life, it doesn't concern me. It uses the same micro USB that all of you android users are used to. I love this light. It's a gem. If I manage to break it one day, at $100 I'll buy two to replace it.
Superb Light - One Issue

I am a flashlight collector, not sure why, maybe I'm afraid of the dark. I own many lights and I always have one in my pocket. I insist on quality, and Surefire is one of the best, you will pay for this quality but it's something I appreciate. This particular light, the Stiletto, is a favorite of mine due to it's slim profile, this light slips easily into and out of my pocket. The USB rechargeable battery seems robust and seems to hold a charge for a very long time, and I like the protective cover over the charging port. Three light intensity settings make this a very versatile pocket light, and very powerful at the high setting.

I love this light, but I must warn you of a relatively minor issue, this is why four stars instead of five. Occasionally, if there is too much stuff in my pocket, and space is cramped, the on/off switch can be depressed and the light will turn on in my pocket. If this light has room enough so that the switch will not be activated, and nothing pressing against it, you will be fine. I don't know how Surefire can fix this minor glitch, but I think they will figure it out. All things considered, this remains one of my favorite EDC lights.

Another home run from the only light company, Surefire, where a new way to have quality, portable flashlights was invented.

My first SF light was a 6P back in "˜98ish and it smoked every light anywhere on earth. I have an SF light on my pistol, on my rifle, one in each of my three hoopdies, a few at my crib and a boxnahalf SF batteries.

I recently purchased a stiletto and a stiletto pro just in case somebody drops a contact lens. I'll whip the pro out, light up the room and booyakasha, instant hero...ok, I kid. I'm an investigator and occasionally have to search around locations early inamorning looking for vehicles linked to my subject.

I've seen a few references to folks using the stiletto as a weapon. Not a good idea in my opinion...smack person on the chin for the knockout or grab and rip your attacker's right leg up and drop that idjit on his/her back. Then either beat feet or jump on top and get to work.

Other folks have indicated the stiletto turns on in their pocket.....press and hold the PRIMARY and TACTICAL switch simultaneously for two seconds, then release and the unit is in lockout mode. Reverse procedure to unlock. Don't fall into a paranoid state where u actually believe a little flashlight in gonna save your life and the two seconds to unlock your stiletto will cost you your life. If your that spun, carry a gat.

Hope this helps🤔
Best flashlight purchase I’ve made

I've owned lots of everyday carry flashlights over the last 30 years. Most were adequate but went through batteries quickly enough that I couldn't count on them. This light is rechargeable and I've seen it hold a charge for 3 weeks with moderate daily use. It's slim and fits nicely in my pocket. The three brightness settings are perfect for all uses. The end cap button makes quick use a breeze. I couldn't recommend it more.
Very well built. It looks and feels like quality

The Surefire Stiletto is something that I have researched extensively before purchase. If you're looking for a capable EDC flashlight that can double as a self defense or tactical light, than look no further! This one ticks all of the boxes for me. Apparently, IPX7 rated, but I wouldn't go swimming with it. But for normal wet weather use, it's a thumbs up from me!
