My first order was a bunk dysfunctional one. It was surprisingly easy to exchange. My new one works great. They were both difficult to mount on my spokes. I think mine are too thick. The screw tightening system is kind of a pain in the butt, but I got it on. My bike is a one speed cruiser. I have to go pretty fast for my friends to see the designs, but the color still look cool.

For night riding -- and to some extent -- day riding, this gadget is fun for the children. They love seeing the patterns swirl around as we are biking, but this can also be dangerous: drivers (or your children) may get distracted and hit something. It puts out a lot of light and looks cool. The installation instructions are useless, so I had to figure out how to install it - the plastic screws that fit over the spokes are tight so you'll need to orient the frame that holds the light the right way so the spoke doesn't have to go all the way down into the screw channel, the frame will take up the first bit. And be careful with the plastic nut to prevent stripping it. The light could be attached with zip ties if the plastic screw/nut don't work or fail.

It works good but it doesn't come with the batteries so that's one thing you need to buy and then buy some zip ties to make sure when your going fast it doesn't go flying off but just with those two things it will look amazing

The spoke lights work very well and are quite bright. They made me much more visible on my bike ride from work to home in the dark. The only negative is that they didn't fit perfectly on my bike spokes. Perhaps I have a non-standard spoke arrangement. However, I was able to make them work by securing them to the spokes with some wire I had in my tool box. No big deal. I recommend them.
