This is definitely old reclaimed wood. It's beautifully weathered, some has vertical sunfade marks where maybe a metal bar held it. Some have gorgeous knotholes and some have a lovely scorched tiger swirl. A few with saw marks. Lots of variety in texture. There are nail holes and bore holes (don't worry insects are not an issue since all pieces are kiln fired). I couldn't be happier with the amount of character the wood shows. It's a nice variety of color and even the darker pieces are muted and peaceful looking. For reference, I bought 3 boxes and laid all out on the floor. Some of the boards were already cut, which will make our job easier and gives us more colors/variety. But you might want to reach out to supplier if you need all the same length. (One of our boxes had no cut boards so I assume that's a possibility you could request). We literally just laid them out without any planning and it looks awesome after a 5 minute unboxing. I don't think you could go wrong with making your project look amazing. I'm super excited to cover our accent wall and will add finished photos.

There is no adhesive. Put it up with just brad nails. Super easy! A definite must for a diy. Its a little on the expensive side but added so much more to my entry way. I love the 3 different sizes.
