I purchased a pair for my son back in February, when he was still learning to walk and they were his favorite pair up until he grew out of them last month. I purchased this new pair a week ago, and he loves them just as much! The bottoms are soft enough where his feet can bend and move with the Earth, but durable enough that things will not poke through and hurt him. These are my favorite shoes for him, outside of these he usually wears the sock shoes, but these are more durable and last longer.

These were just perfect for my baby as a newer walker with slightly wide feet. Easy to get on, nice and flexible and they honestly held up with much more durability than I expected! The little "eyes" have gotten scratched up but the rest of the shoe hardly shows any wear other than the insole being dirty from being worn without socks. They do seem to get a bit stinky with sockless sweaty baby feet. Fantastic value for us! My son wore them all summer and they are still in great shape for the next baby now that he's mostly outgrown them. I wish they went up to a bigger size so we could stick with them!
