Great locking mechanism. Not to hard to install but takes some finesse to add 7" Garmin
Fits the Garmin Striker 7SV mount perfectly

Looks to be built very solid. Positive ratchet stops for easy positioning. Very secure locking buckle to rail mount yet still easy ti remove for storage as needed.
Great Stand

This stand is great with the yak attack aluminum mounting channel. Stays where you put it and and has a lot of adjustability. Doesn't bounce around while driving the boat either. The lock and Load makes it easy to take my fish finder out of the boat when leaving the water.
Love it except for one big flaw

Ok, positives first.
Solid, sturdy, light weight, quick removal, adjustable in several ways (but one). See below.
This would be absolutely perfect if it weren't for one major issue: the fish finder mount is in a fixed position. The only horizontal swivel is at the base on the t-track. The reason why this is a problem?
On a pedal kayak, the only way to get the finder in a direct viewing angle is to put it in your leg/knee path for pedaling. I was able to make it work by using offset mounting points to turn the finder position (pic attached). Sadly, this takes it down from 4 bolts to 2. That said, it still feels solid and stable.
I have probably 80 hours of fish time with it mounted like this and have not had a single issue, so that's why I'm still giving it 4 stars.
I love it and that's my only gripe.

This is as good of quality as one can expect. Much preferred over ball mounts
