I only bought Bitdefender because I was angry that I could not get a working passcode for the antivirus package I used for several years through Amazon. Going back and forth between Amazon and the maker of the antivirus, where each party blames the other for the problem, only amounts to extremely poor customer service by both! I ended up buying Bitdefender because it was rated number one by a couple of review sources (don't truse them)!
So far Bitdefender has left me cold. For some reason I am constantly having to turn it back on over and over again because, it says, something has turned it off! Whenever I get an android or security patch update I have to turn it back on! And there are other times I have to turn ir vack on, for no aparent reason at all! I consider this to be a deal breaker when an antivirus cannot stay active for any reason! Additionally, during set-up, I had to turn each part of Bitdefender on individually. I cannot figure out why the software is not capable of configuring itself and for the optional features querring you during set-up! I am constantly being bugged with adds as well! There is also a notification at the top of my phone screen that wont go away, telling me that Bitdefender is working, evidently even when it needs to be turned back on! Bitdefender even popped up a screen covering an important video call! Mind you, I am not using some stripped-down free version, I am using a full priced, bought-and-paid-for package so there should be NONE of this crap happening! I cannot recommend Bitdefender to anyone who wants to remain sane and protected! I have zero confidence that Bitdefender is even turned-on at any time! Buyer Beware!

Bitdefender offered me a 1 year renewal for $99. Seemed like too much and Amazon had a 2 year renewal for $39. Seemed too good to be true, but ordered jt, came the next day and was easily activated.

I had previously installed this program and it was coming up for renewal. Very cost effective and easy to
reinstall. It has saved me many times from entering corrupted websites. Not American made but not much is these days. Well worth the price of admission.
