Love these Keds leather baseball sneakers. I wear a size 6 or 6 1/2 and ordered a size 6. They fit very comfortably as expected without socks. After they are broken in, they will fit well with socks. The white leather is soft and pebbled. The red stitching is just that - stitching - not printed on. The brown leather base patches on the heel and tongue are cute. Love that the shoes come with a second pair of laces in soft cloth (not leather or rawhide) "baseball glove" brown. Altogether, they are a fun and cute pair of sneakers for summer baseball games.
Fits length wise, but a bit long

I normally wear a 7.5 shoe, but since most reviews were that these shoes run tight, I ordered size 8. For only ordering up half a size from what I normally wear, these shoes are quite a bit longer on my feet than any of my other shoes, but that could just be the way Keds are designed. They are definitely tight though, I will definitely say that, but I have wide feet so that could just be how my feet are. I know they will stretch out over time. I love the way these shoes look though, plus they come with white and tan laces so you can choose which ones you want to wear. I found these feel better when worn with thin socks rather than normal socks.
Still my favorite pair of shoes

These are some of my favorite shoes that I've ever owned! After a full two springs & summers of near constant wear, I just bought a second pair to (finally) retire the first set. Of course they sustained some wear and tear, as one would expect, but overall I am extremely impressed with how these leather keds have held up!! I bought them to wear to baseball games with my hubby but I get compliments on them practically everywhere I go! Only towards the end of this past summer did I finally wear down the bottoms to the point of no return. About one year into owning them the original white laces broke and I replaced them with the tan set that came with the package- no big deal, they still looked great!
They just don't make 'em like they used to.

These VERY CUTE Keds baseball shoes fit as expected and are pretty darn comfy. I did have to send my first pair back and buy a size bigger, but no big deal; Keds quality is worth the hassle...or so I thought.
The complements alone are almost worth the $60 price tag! I rarely spend that much on shoes, but I thought, "I'll bite the bullet and pay, because they're Keds." However, after only 3 months of light wear, the outside "seam", if glue can be called that, is splitting just above the red stripe in the instep.
It used to be that Keds were known on the playground for their durability, often living through 2 or 3 rambunctious siblings before retiring as gardening shoes. It's been 30 years since I've owned a pair, but I assumed that the KEDS name still meant the same quality craftsmanship of yesteryear even though these were "specialty" adult shoes. Sadly, I found out differently.
My optimistic self still thought, "Well, these are Keds, and surely the $60 price tag means that this is just a defect and this reputable company will stand behind their name and make this right by sending me a replacement pair." Not so, as they apparently only refund UN-WORN shoes less than 45 days old, not those that should have lasted MUCH longer than 3 months before breaking down. And, I can't even relegate them to the garden for dirt getting in the hole. Hmph.
My synopsis: too expensive for the quality. If they had been $30 Keds I might have questioned them and bought at my own risk. I didn't know there would be any risk at $60! If Keds has downgraded their quality, the price tag should follow suit. At the least, they should give better service for their inflated prices.

Comfortable and cute for baseball season!

Reviews said these run very narrow, but I disagree. I'm an 8.5/9 on the wider end of normal, and because of the reviews went with a 9 in hopes they might maybe, hopefully not be too painfully narrow. To my surprise they aren't narrow at all! Length wise I could easily take an 8.5, but don't want to chance pit with the width (9 width fit perfectly). I got both the canvas and leather and am keeping them both, they're that cute. I've only worn them once (to work, to help break them in) and got compliments from every single co-worker, and questions of where they could get them too for baseball season. Can't wait to wear them to the ball park!
