This was a very thought out product. The exterior pocket is large enough for longer items and the storage underneath the rods can help carry a ton of extra stuff. Not to mention the mesh pockets on each end. If you carry this as a backpack it leaves your hands free for your auger and sonar. This is perfect for hole hopping or early ice. We'll see how the zippers hold up this winter. Very pleased so far.

The four rod slots in the foam offer great protection for my ice rods while in travel and offer a total rod storage of eight ice combos when placing the rods facing opposite direction in each slot. The bag also has a fairly large storage compartment. The storage compartment measures at 15 1/4 inches long by 4 1/4 inches high and 11 1/4'' deep. I am able to fit four 11'' by 7'' lure boxes in this compartment with ease. This bag also has back pack straps to keep it hands free when i am carrying a bucket and auger. Plus I really like the extra soft pockets on the exterior of the rod case for all my extra ice fishing gear. Over all it is a great rod case. I even bought another one for a friend today after getting a chance to use this one.
