Good product for the price

I purchased the Stiga Advantage after comparing it to the Joola indoor ping pong table. The professional review writers said that the Stiga was sturdier in terms of weight and the wheels, so I decided that the $20 extra was worth it. The Stiga arrived in a large flat one piece box and was carried into my house by two deliverymen. My wife and I were able to push and pull the box, and then slide it down the stairs to the basement. Once we pushed it to the room in the basement, I was able to remove the contents myself. The contents were well protected by the packaging, so I did not have any damaged parts. There are two identical ends of the table that you assemble separately, and then bring together at the very end. In order to assemble the table, you basically just have to attach the 4 sets of wheels to the legs (2 on each table part). The instructions say to use a wrench, but it could have been better by giving the actual size wrenches that were needed. In reviewing other consumer reviews, I knew to get a 14 mm wrench and and 1/2 wrench. Those were the only tools I needed, as one is used to turn the nut the bolt on one end and the other to hold the nut in place. Once I had all 4 wheels attached, I had my wife help me turn over the two table parts, one at a time, and then pushed the two table parts together. I then unfurled the net and clamped it on both sides, which was very quick and easy. At first one end of the table was a bit higher than the other end, but after some adjustments to the knobs on the stationary legs I was able to make the entire table even. The instructions say that only 10 minutes is necessary to assemble, and while that is likely true, I took my time taking the pieces out carefully and making sure I was doing everything right. It probably took me about 1/2 hour to put it together, as I did it mostly myself.

Once it was fully assembled, it was time to play. The table plays well for an entry level table at that price, and it is indeed very sturdy. It has a very nice appearance with the blue table top. Because the table top is thinner than some other tables out there, you will not get a huge bounce than those tables, which are considerably more expensive. However, we bought our table just for family play, not tournament play. Thus, the lack of a higher bounce was a sacrifice I was willing to make for this price. We've only had it set up for about a week, so I can't speak to its durability at this stage, but so far so good.
Great table

Easy to set up but definitely need two people to flip the table tops. The box had damage on the underside but the packaging was great as there was no damage to the actual table.
Great Table and Value

I debated amongst many tables from better-known brands but settled on this one based on the solid reviews and ease of assembly. It's very heavy and sturdy and getting the box into position is a 2-person job. Assembly is not as quick as advertised but it's really quick and you're up and playing inside of half an hour. The table feels very sturdy. The legs seem solid and well-constructed and the playing surface offers an adequate level of bounce based on its thickness. I don't know this brand but the table looks cool and is shockingly easy to break down for storage. I haven't used the feature whereby you can play on your own but, based on the simple assembly, it'd be easy to get it into position. Getting the net set up is a little tricky with these little strings and whatnot but it's easy to secure the net to the table for the right tension. My only grievance with this table would be that it doesn't come with storage for balls and paddles. But having the table delivered to me rather than hauling it out of the store and getting it home outweigh that minor inconvenience. We just leave the equipment on the table. I probably need to Google how to clean the table as it picks up minor blotches or whatever; I'd like to get back that super-new look. Several months in and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I'd highly recommend this table for fun for all ages.
Totally easy to set up, good, solid table, reasonable price

From the outset: My delivery appointment got screwed up, but the trucker got it here less than a full day late, so not bad. . ..

Out of the box: The table is well packed, and well protected. There was damage to the box outside which seemed to have cut into some wood -- but the company has actually packed the table inside a cardboard box that's reinforced with wood (or pressboard) at edges and on the sides. Very helpful -- the table came out looking just fine.

From there: The claims that's it's very easy to set up are absolutely true. You literally just put the table halves upside down on the floor, open the leg assemblies (very simple), and put 8 bolts through metal legs and braces -- no confusion is possible here -- and tighten them up. Then you flip the table halves, put them together -- very easy to move the halves on the two wheeled legs -- and clamp on the net where they join. My one concern about assembly was that just rolling the two halves together might not create a level table across the join. But it got very close to perfect before the net clamps, and the clamps do a good job of finishing that off.

On my floor, there was no need to level, but the legs have levelers just in case.

The "finished" product is very solid, looks good, and plays very well. Good bounce, etc. The whole family found ourselves smiling and laughing within moments.

I'm sure that a much more expensive table from a good manufacturer must have some advantages. But for a reasonably priced, non-professional table, we are very happy with this one!
Easy Setup, Quality Table

New to table tennis and this is my first table. It was easy to set up, took like 10 minutes and did it by myself. You basically just have to bolt on the included supports with the wheels.

The table seems sturdy and I'm happy with the quality for the price. I wanted something that didn't feel flimsy but was still mobile and that's what I got. Glad I spent a little more money for a STIGA table than some of the more budget options out there. It feels like it's something that will last.

I feel like I have to mention that when it was delivered, the box was practically hanging off the table but somehow the table itself was not damaged. It does seem like the manufacturer could have maybe packaged it better. But the delivery service was great and they even took it to the bonus room it was being set up in, so I can't really complain. Very stoked!
