Beautiful but arrived broken

This was a Christmas gift for my niece and nephew and when I received it this delicate little nativity scene (it is pretty tiny) was in a flimsy cardboard box with no packing material inside. The box was ripped at the corner and the piece itself was broken in several places. I had wood glue and was able to fix it so it looked perfect, and I was still able to give it as a gift. But the top of the tree had to be reattached and one of the figures was loose and rolling around the box. Nothing was broken beyond repair, but some actual packing material would have made a huge difference! I fixed it and repackaged it in a box filled with bubble wrap. Very beautiful little piece of art! My sister loved it and was amazed by its detail. So all in all, still a great gift.

When I visited Jerusalem there were stores with similar products for three times the price and the same craftsmanship. I highly recommend this olive wood nativity set, it was beautiful and my aunt loved it for a Christmas gift.
