make sure you also order the correct fittings. I ended up going to the local John Deere for them, not cheap

I purchsaed this pump for a 12 foot tilt trailer that had a valve on the ram going port to port a manual setup. I read a lot of reviews and I was worried about a lot of people having problems with trying to find some non standard British fittings. It came in the box with 4 fittings. I removed the ones in the pump replaced them with the other provided. I made two hoses up for exact fit. Everything I used was power steering ram fittings. Welded a piece of flat bar 2"x3/8 8" long to the frame for mounting. I bolted the pre threaded pump block with M10-1.5x35MM to the welded flat bar. The the port coming out of the relay valve with the red knob on it is the pump (up) button and the other side of the block is the the (down). I adjusted the pump so it would not over pressure up or down, so it would bypass at a reasonable pressure. It lifted 2800Lbs with ease. The unit was properly prewired. All of the electrical stud contacts had to be torqued. Be carful the isolated relay contactor is a cheaper one but sufficient for the load. I Used two number 2 wire with no voltage drop at 3' long. Pump is fast. I installed some baffles on the hoses at A-B outputs to tame it down little. I dont think the solenoid and relays are water proof. If this thing will be exposed to weather I would build a cover over the pump electronics. I have only ran it 30-40 times to soon to tell if it will last. Good design well made product for the money. Unit came packaged good.

I really didn't know how my experience of this pump would go. I needed it quickly, and I needed it to arrive and work without trouble. I decided to purchase a bale grapple for my skid loader. I'm a one man farming operation so you can only imagine how big of a life saver this has been. My skid loader does not have AUX hydraulic ports, so I went a different route. With that being said, this hydraulic unit is the center of the whole thing. Without it, it's useless.

The item arrived a lot sooner than expected. Within a week. Tracking was not accurate. FedEx actually said that the label had been unreadable and they replaced it.

When it arrived it was in perfect shape. Excellent packing. It came with a total of 3 sets of hydraulic fitting adapters. Many reviews say that you must buy 1/4" BSPP adapters to NPT, so I did. While the pump is actually 1/4" BSPP, yes, it does come with adapters. I ended up using the JIC adapters that came with the pump. From there, I went to my local Rural King and bought 3/8" hose, 3/8" NPT adapter fittings to the JIC, and adapter fittings to the cylinder I needed to plumb it to. The pump did not come with mounting bolts or main battery cables. You will need to supply those yourself. For battery cables I used 6 GA. The mounting bolts at 8mm. One feature I did not expect, is for the controller to have a magnet back on it. That works nice to attach to my skid loader operator station for easy reach.

With Mobil 424 hydraulic fluid that I use in every machine I own, the pump works fast and great. I use it from all angles, being mounted on a skid loader attachment. So far so good, and I have handled about 300 bales with it so far, loading and then unloading. I will update this as time goes on and share my experiences, but this has so far been a great unit. ðŸ‘

We bought and installed this pump in May 2022. I wanted to use it for a while before reviewing it to be able to give an honest and informed review....

We bought a piece of heavy equipment needed of a lot of t.l.c.! Including needing the hydraulic lift system replaced. We had just previous to this purchase searched and found a smaller pump that we needed for another project and had seen this one in the process. So in the process of searching through a ton of hydraulic pumps we came back across this one ended up deciding this one would be it and we are very glad we did! It came exactly as described and it was very easy to set up/install and works perfect for us! We haven't had a single issue with it! The attached remote works wonderfully and the 15 foot cord is perfect for standing back to see what you're doing. We would recommend this to anyone in need of a hydraulic pump of this size.

Pump was relatively easy to install. The most difficult was getting the hydraulic lines hook up because the ports were on opposite sides from the old pump assembly. The instructions could be clearer about what type of hydraulic fluid/oil to use.
