Just like OEM, only issue is that I don't like the fact that wires are exposed when the mirror is tilted a certain way. Other than that they work like my original ones. Only had them on for about a month or two...update on 9 months later: the heating elements on the side view mirror works well. Still don't like the exposed wires when I adjust my mirrors a certain way, but everything works

Bought for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. After reading the reviews was worried about ordering them. Well I don't know where all the negative reviews come from. Had no problems installing them. Every thing went like it was supposed to. Had both sides done in about 1/2 hour. No vibration in the mirrors no having to remove and install bolts. Great tow and normal mirrors would highly recommend them to any body would buy again if I had to.
No modifications needed just easy install.

Exact fit nothing else needed for this. Take inside door panel off being careful of the plastic as dodge plastic seems to break easily. then you will see the retaining nuts that hold on the mirror and replace with new one. reverse order to put back together. Took me about 30 minutes give or take a minute counting the time it took to readjust the new mirrors. Also if not sure you can do this you might find it on YouTube I am sure.

They bolted right into the preexisting holes and were sturdy once mounted. I don't have electric controls so I can't speak on those. But folding them up and down is sturdy, and takes some force to get up and down which I prefer.
