My light fixture holds 3 bulbs. I bought a 6-pack to save having to hunt down replacements in the future. In the hopefully distant future as these are LED bulbs. It's been 3.5 years now, and I've just replaced a second bulb; only one spare remaining. The box they came in taunts me with "Reduce the hassle of frequent replacement." Two of three bulbs needing replaced within a 4 year time period isn't any better a track record than the cheap old incandescents. The promise of a longer lifetime is supposed to offset the higher cost of the bulb. The energy savings of an LED bulb sure doesn't offset the higher cost without the longer life to realize the savings.
That’s one bright bulb.
