The "don't be fooled" review here seems to misunderstand how carbs work, which is concerning because if you're on keto you should understand how this all works. What it comes down to is how many carbs are available to spike your blood sugar. The combination of ingredients that lower the net available carbs does make this a borderline gimmicky product, but if this makes the difference between you being able to stick with a low carb/keto diet for a long time or stopping after three weeks, this seems like a no brainer. A friend who was doing ketosis blood tests was eating this bread happily and stayed in ketosis. Just avoid eating more than a couple slices at a time.

For me, eating a couple slices of these a day allowed me to maintain mild ketosis and I didn't feel like cheating nearly as much. Not because I was craving carbs"”I wasn't"”I just missed toast. Toast is great.

The flavor is just OK, certainly not as good as I expect for $9 bread. Some people on here also say "it tastes too good to be true," but as a hobbyist baker and pastry lover I can tell you without a doubt it has a somewhat unpleasant scent and has the texture of cheap bread. That said, when toasted or grilled and dressed up with some nut butter or cheese it's totally fine and better than most keto-friendly breads.

Good bread, fresh and has a wonderful taste

I'm a bread junkie and I have been low carb for over a year and dropped 40lbs in doing so. I just recently found this bread and it is amazing. I'm not gaining any weight by eating this even if I have three or four pieces in one day. I typically try to limit myself to two pieces a day but sometimes toast in the morning sounds good and a sandwich later sounds better. I originally ordered the golden wheat from Amazon. Once I received it, I toasted it and had it with just butter. I realized instantly that I wanted to try the rest of the flavors. I then ordered the deliciously seeded, the sweet and buttery and the sweet oat directly from Sola. I also ordered two packs of their hamburger buns directly from Sola. I wanted to try the different breads without having to buy three at a time of the same kind, in case I didn't like the others. When you order directly from the Sola site they require you to buy at least two per order. You can at least mix a match the different bread types to meet the requirement per order. So far I like all of them. I think they taste like regular bread. They toast like regular bread , not super ,super crispy like toasted regular bread but more toasted with a little bit of chewiness , in a good way. They don't dry your mouth out like most low carb breads do. I have tried quite a few different low carb breads that people say 'taste like regular bread' and then I get them and I can't even swallow them they are so dry. These really do taste like regular bread to me. I would say my least favorite is the sweet buttery because it has a hint of sweetness but it is still good! I specifically got that one to make French toast with.I have tried all of these breads in the toaster with just butter (which has always been my addiction, toast with butter) and they taste great. Yes they are small but even breads like Dave's killer bread thin sliced is about the same size and it has three times the net carbs per slice than this bread has. And YES this bread is not cheap but I have learned if I can find something that will 'feed' the craving and keep my low carb lifestyle going, then it is worth it to me. This bread is amazing and if you're a toast chunky like myself you'll love it.I toasted it and put peanut butter on it and gave it to my husband and he couldn't tell the difference.I think the price is about the same whether you order from Amazon or directly from the sola website. You just get to mix and match the different bread types on the sola website. The other thing with this bread is the use erythritol which normally bothers my digestive tract but it is less than 2% of the ingredients listed in the bread. I have had no digestive issues with their bread or their hamburger buns. I will definitely buy again once my supply gets low. Definitely keep in mind the delivery time so you don't run out. I think it took about four business days to get to me. No issues with mold whether from Amazon or directly from Sola. I did notice the loafs from Sola were less squished than the ones from Amazon.

I do like this bread. Do not toast it in the toaster. If you want it for a sandwich it does work perfectly.

I just got my order delivered. Opened package right away to see if the bread was fresh or maybe moldy. To my surprise it was very fresh and no mold at all. Got delivery very fast. I had a piece and it was really fresh and delicious. I am watching carbs so having bread is a real treat. I'm a very satisfied customer and will order again.
