One and Done PRO Game Feeder - Built to Last - Loads 122lbs or 250 lbs (30 Gallon Scout Game Feeder) for Hunters

Key features
- •No assembly or tools necessary, can be setup anywhere by anyone. The OAD feeder can be placed on the ground, strapped to a tree (bracket included), or on a traditional tripod.
- •Multi-patented directional feeder allows for the most accurate throw and calculation of how long the feed will last.
- •30-gallon drum holds up to 130 lbs. 1 cup of feed covers the widest field range in the industry which saves you time and money. Works with Floating Fish Food .125" to .50" in diameter.
- •Smart Program TM digital timer allows you to schedule up to 6 feedings a day. Customize feed dispense time between 1-99 seconds. Can operate on as little as one 12-volt battery (not included) or up to as much as a car battery. No need for solar power.
- •NOT recommended for areas with a heavy bear population. While this feeder is bear resistant, it is not bear proof like the 55 or 110 gallon models which are better suited in those areas.

Decent feeder with a little work

Overall I would say this is one of the nicer feeders in this price range. It is made in China, much like all the other major brands out there. The body of the feeder is thick, the paint job is decent although it does appear there were some scratches that were touched up at the factory and left a rough finish. The packaging it was shipped in was very good and protected it well. I have had other brand feeders show up dented due to rough handling and the feed drum being shipped in only plastic shipping wrap. The bracket that is used to mount the feeder to the tree is removable. This is a nice feature, you can use a ratchet strap to easily attach the bracket to a tree and then lift the feeder onto the bracket. The timer is a little confusing to program but once you get the hang of it it's not bad at all. One note on the timer, One and Done's website has the programming instructions. There are 6 possible run times you can program, to turn them on and off the directions say to use the HR button. On my timer I had to use the SET button to turn each run time on or off. The motor is strong and throws corn a good distance although you will get more closer to the feeder, which is to be expected. One of the major issues I found was the baffle that sits down inside the feeder which serves as the bottom of the hopper and keeps corn from falling into the motor/battery area. There are large gaps around the edges and there is no hardware to secure it down. I used a sheet metal screw to lock it down and caulking to seal the edges, not a big deal or difficult to do, but I would say it's necessary to keep the motor area clean as possible. This baffle also serves as the top side of the shoot where the feed is shot out from. There were gaps there as well that would allow corn and corn dust to get into the motor/battery area. I used caulking to seal those gaps, this is a tight area and took some time. Batteries are the same as those used in solar electric fence energizers and wheelchairs, and share the same connectors. The motor/battery compartment door does have a gap, not terrible but it is there. I put my timer inside a ziplock bag to keep it dry. Some of the pictures show the compartment door with one latch, mine came with two, it seems they listened to the complaints of the door not being secured effectively. Overall it's a good feeder with a little work and about $5 of materials. I will likely upgrade the timer to "The-Timer", those seem to have good reviews.
The only bear proof feeder on the market

I struggle with bears in my area. I have tried hanging them from trees with a heavy winch, putting electric fence around them, and nothing seemed to work until I found these guys. I mount the barrels to a tree with a 5/16 inch chain around the bracket and then loop it around the foot to keep them from twisting it sideways. I have had numerous 400+ bears try to get into this thing and other than laving claw marks, teeth marks and slightly twisting it on the tree, the feeders were completely unharmed and continued to function. I highly recommend these feeders they are well worth the money...
Solid feeder.

Was well packed and quick delivery. Set up was fairly easy with exception to my mistake of picking the wrong size battery. I got the remote as well with no instructions I emailed them to figure out how to pair it to the controller.
This was a little pricey but needed something i can load from the ground since im in a wheelchair and unable to climb. Was looking at a tripod/winch feeder but this definitely easier to get into the field. Can pull-up next on 4wheeler and load fairly easily. Programming it easy as well.
To get it off the ground a little more to keep the coons out, we sank a pole to mount it to since its in an open field with no trees around. Thinking of making something to extend the chute out away from the can to keep the raccoon arms from reaching in.
Overall very happy with it as a target deer has already shown up. Would buy it again. Highly recommend.

Bought the 30g version in spite of warning from Jeff that this unit is not actually bear proof. Sure enough, one of our bears twisted it around the tree in spite of 3 ratchet straps and broke off one of the brackets on the lower part of the unit. We've moved the 30g to a property with only an occasional bear, have added heavier straps and have had delivered the 55g size OAD which is said to be bear proof. I'm comparing this plan to an old Moultrie feeder which I've wrapped in chicken wire and hooked to a solar fence charger. Ive also rigged an old Moultrie to a cable crank that gets the feeder 7f off the ground between 2 trees. Bears can be a pain!
Super directional feeder

Finally, a feeder that may outfox coons, and squirrels too! In taking into consideration other reviews, I have attached a 30 gallon garbage can lid with bungee cords on the top to ward off water, caulked the funnel to keep corn dust and small particles from falling down into the battery compartment, and placed a 1/8" weather strip at the top of the compartment door to keep out our torrential S. GA rains. My only other fear, is that driven rain may go down the inclined corn shoot even with the little protector roof. I also added 2' poles in the legs to elevate it off of the ground as bending down to work the battery and timer is not that easy any more. It came extremely well packaged with good foam, but even so, two of the leg feet wee slightly bent, but that's not a big factor. I did have a slight problem inserting the oblong funnel inside and wish there was a video of that. So far it's working great and will update if there's a fail.
