I had to buy this entire assembly because the individual parts in my fire pit that needed replacement weren't available with the right attachment dimensions. But we n the bed this saved me from buying a new fire pit.

I ordered several smaller components"¦nothing fit so went with this"¦..now the part that goes into the gas hose does not fit!!!! I either find the right adapter or send this whole thing back. Why is this so hard!

The gas line on my fire tower had cracked and could not find one locally. This kit came with everything I needed to fix it. I did not use the thermocouple since my was still good. The gas feed tube is a little long, but for a generic kit it does not bother me. If your fire pit or other gas appliance needs this type of valve, this would be a solid purchase. Installed Dec 2021

I used this to repair a gas fire table that someone was giving away. It was clear that the guts of the previous one had caught fire so I took everything out. This was a simple replacement job and included all parts I needed save for an igniter and everything worked fine out of the box. But bear in mind that there are no instructions for this. Also others mentioned it going out after being lit - make sure to hold the knob in for 20-30 seconds after lighting so the thermocouple opens completely and it will stay lit. If it won't stay lit still, check the thermocouple to make sure it's attached and located correctly near the burner.
