I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loves dragons, especially Toothless. He remains her comfort at the scary doctor and dentist appointments. He also joins her on outdoor adventures and indoor escapades. We still haven't tested water durability but summer is fast approaching and I'm sure it will be tested. So far Toothless remains stain free (thank goodness for black). His nails and tail fins(?) do tend to pill but the pills are easily removed with scissors or simply pulling them off. Seams are strong and holds shape well.

This model captures the look and character of Toothless from the films. The wings are a bit shorter (a concession to making a plushie) than in the films, but the plush has a nice scaled texture, the anatomy is correct, and those great big green eyes!

This is a great toy for kids, or a great collector's item for adult fans. I use my collectibles in photography, setting characters up in natural settings like beaches or woods. this guy will make a great subject!

This is a very good quality Toothless plush. It feels much more like an adult collector's plush rather than a children's toy, but it feels quite durable. The tail fins, toes, and some of the head spines are made of a stiff and durable felt, the body itself is a soft, scale textured fabric, and the wings are plush minky. The eyes are embroidered.
Pros:
It's big! 14 inches makes for a good sized and huggable plush.
Very detailed and movie accurate. The proportions are really accurate to the character, which you don't see in many Toothless plushes.
Super soft minky wings. I can't stop stroking them! They're so fuzzy and cute.

Cons:
The felt attracts lint easily, but it's easily picked off. It's a bit rough as well, around the edges. I do wish the edges were coated in a bit of ribbon, or at least a fabric-paint like seal to take away the roughness.
The sewn tag he came with is in somewhat of an obnoxious place on his tail (I removed the tag and colored over it with some black sharpie to make it less obvious)
Bottom line? Lovely plush, very good quality for such a good price.

Great plush to get, i have some of the smaller dragon plush from the egg capsules and with the size of this plush and the miniatures it makes them look like a family. I collect mostly for display or light play so i wont be able to give a good description on how it would hold up to being in a kids hands. But as for me i enjoy having something from a movie i grew up with.
Ordering the light fury one today in order to make a complete set!

I always have a hard time spending so much on a stuffy, but it was one of the only things my daughter asked for, for her 5th birthday. She loves it. It seems good quality, is exactly as pictured. It stands well on its legs, and it has decent detail to the body. It is pretty cute. I was a little upset paying the $32 for it than seeing it drop to $20 shortly after purchasing but it was worth it I suppose.
