We purchased this harness to be drop-shipped to a "kill" shelter in Houston, TX, that my wife volunteers at. There was a dog, young male, who, when walking with a leash and collar, would behave aggressively towards other dogs. This meant that he would most likely not be considered as a good subject for adoption and would probably be euthanized. One of the shelter staff thought the aggression had something to do with the collar.
We sent this harness over so he could wear it instead of a collar, and his personality changed - he was calm, playful, and friendly to the other dogs. And, the very first day that he wore the harness, he got adopted! So Yay to the shelter staff who figured out what the issue was, and Yay to this collar for being comfortable and non-stressing!

Seems to be a fit issue with the sizing recommendations

I purchased this in both a Large and Medium size. Given my dog's measurements, the recommendations from Phoepet were to get a Large. Unfortunately, when we tried it on, it was way too big and I had already pulled the straps as tight as they could go but the harness was still moving side-to-side with a lot of extra room. I returned it and got a medium and unfortunately this one was way too small and was squeezing my dog way too tight, even after loosening all of the straps. However, the quality and durability appeared to be very good; I just wish the sizing worked out.

We just got this little 2 year old dog from a rescue and although he's 20 lbs, he has a lean body and small chest. He seemed to wiggle out of the other harness and I didn't want to take any chances. I'm so happy with this harness. It's well-made and very secure around his neck and chest. It's not tight at all and it was perfect for walking, which he loves. The matching leash is also really nice. The orange parts of the harness and leash are reflective and I could see it almost glowing when it was only slightly dark outside. Very good buy and would definitely recommend.
Sturdy collar, feels bulky and heavy with difficulty to adjust

I bought the medium and large of this collar. The large is too bulky and heavy for my Shiba Inu and the medium seems too small.
When they came in I wrestled with them to get them adjusted correctly, probably took me the better part of an hour and some cussing. Unfortunately you must adjust both sides of the next and abdomen in order for it to be centered and sit correctly on the dog. The reason for this is because the straps are sewn where they pass through the harness parts. The upside is that once adjusted, I don't expect pulling to loosen the harness :)
I deducted a star because of the sizing issue I had but mostly because of the difficulty when adjusting.
The collar is easy to take off and put on using just two clip connectors which the dog appreciated for sure :)

I am a big fan of this product, I ordered it in a n extra large wanting to play it safe"¦. I ended up regretting this decision as I noticed the harness was just a bit too big. I contacted the seller and almost immediately I was returned a message that said they will gladly send me a smaller size, free of charge! I offered to send back the larger one but they recommended I donate it to my local shelter, which I just did today!
