Although I like the length because it covers my behind when sitting in a chair, that length can also be cumbersome when going up the stairs or using the bathroom - a lot like gathering petticoats, I imagine.
I like the texture of the waffle-woven cotton. But the material shifts in such a way that the robe falls open after a few minutes of wear, even though the belt remains tied. This could be remedied by stitching extra ties at the waist, inside the robe.

Beautiful classy bathrobe. I bought the pink one. However, this runs VERY large. If you wear a size 18-20 in US sizes buy the size Medium and you should be very happy. Bought this for our guest room and my daughter in law loved it so much I sent it home with her after their visit. Super nice bathrobe. I need to buy a replacement now. Pink was lovely but I think I'll buy navy this time.
