I am a teacher and I use this to organize my papers. It has come in handy to me and I use it daily. I would just be cautious that the parts do come separately and therefore do come apart. This is for my own personal use but would not recommend using if accessible to young children.

I read the poor reviews and was a little concerned, but then I also read the reviews by teachers and they would know if something would hold up! It sits perfectly fine on my office desk as an inbox and sorter for my various activities throughout the day. If you get the legs in their grooves it's perfectly stable. They aren't deep grooves, so yeah if you bump into it they'll probably get off track, not a big deal. I love that it is colored as that helps the sorting process and gives a brightness to my desk!
