Love watching YouTube in VR! Easy to set up, works with most phones
Sam O'Neill✓ Verified Purchase•October 2, 2023
I've always known YouTube VR videos were a thing, but I've never given them a shot. It never seemed worthwhile to set up the PSVR for it, and it never crossed my mind to load up some videos after playing a game. This device makes it so easy, and I can leave it on the TV stand and pick up whenever I feel like watching!
Specifically, I've enjoyed watching VR videos from amusement parks and amusement park rides. You don't usually get a 360-degree view while riding a roller coaster, but with this, you do! I use my iPhone 7 Plus which is LARGE and it still fits just fine in the system - there's a spring-loaded arm that holds your phone snugly in place, so smaller phones would fit just as well.
Tips:
- Boot up your VR video/game before inserting your phone so that you know where the center line is
- remove any phone cases before inserting your phone
- use the included foam pads if any buttons are being pressed when your phone is placed in the device
- once everything is booted up, put the advice on and spend some time adjusting the lenses using the easy adjustments on the top of the headset - try moving them side to side and back and forth until you have the clearest and most comfortable picture you can. If everything isn't in-focus, it can really break the illusion.
If I were to dock this set for anything, I'd say that the comfort level could be slightly improved with a foam pad attached to the plastic piece that goes around the back of your head. After an extended period it becomes a bit noticeable, probably particularly so for me because my phone is so heavy.
I'm attaching some pictures with my review that show the headset, including the sliding tray in which you would insert your phone. Unfortunately, using my phone to take these pictures, I was unable to completely demonstrate. Hope they still make sense!

Fits Samsung Note 9
Melissa✓ Verified Purchase•September 16, 2023
The media could not be loaded. These goggles fit my Note 9 perfectly without its case. It comes with a small kit that includes little foam pads to level the phone in place. I skipped that part as the graphics looked amazing already. There's a little window in the back to unlock your phone I'm guessing, but otherwise you have to slide your phone out to turn up the volume or tap the screen if the app you're using doesn't include built-in controls.
Please keep in mind, the clamp mechanism for locking your phone in place is not secure and the weight of your phone alone will make it slide right out. It's also the only part that feels a little flimsy. The goggles include pupilary distance adjustments, too which is nice for my kiddos to use since unfortunately I get serious motion sickness from using VR goggles... boo. Overall, very happy with this purchase.

Easy to use, but watch your nose
Jack Oliverio✓ Verified Purchase•September 10, 2023
I love how easy the phone compartment is to use. The accessibility in sliding it out is great compared to the folding panel that I've dealt with in the past. Plus, the adjustable clip for holding my phone is a lot better than some of the suction cup holds I've used before. The picture quality is great and is easily adjustable. The foam pads are great to customize for whatever phone you're mainly using.
My only complaint is the room for my nose. I have a Roman nose, so my bridge hits the plastic and sometimes leaves a bit of soreness and redness. Then again, that's probably not the case for someone with a smaller bridge, but it hasn't ruined my purchase by a long shot. Other than that, it is one of the best vr headsets I've used for my phone

Good for first time VR for kids
Amazon Customer✓ Verified Purchase•July 27, 2023
This is a good setup for kids who are new to VR toys. Plan on spending a couple of hours figuring out how to set it up, loading the phone into the headset, and finding VR apps and uTube videos that are compatible. Also remember that someone has to give up their phone while the kiddos are using the headset. The headset doesn't have sound, per se, but my son figured out how to use EarPods with the system while playing uTube videos. Picture quality is REALLY dependent upon what app or video you're playing and there is some glitching with certain apps where it's just easier to close the app and move on to one that works better. The setup/suggested apps/support documentation that comes with the unit could be much better and would enhance the user's experience greatly.
